Used electric mopeds and light EVs
L1e-B electric mopeds and compact light electric vehicles, inspected with the registration and compliance documents we hold.
Registration, documents, then the machine
An electric moped is a registered vehicle in most of Europe, so paperwork comes first: type approval, registration document, VIN plate and, where applicable, the certificate of conformity. Once that stacks up we inspect the running gear — brakes, tyres, suspension, lights — and test the pack the same way we test a bike’s.

Questions about e-mopeds
Do I need a licence and insurance?
In most EU countries an L1e-B moped needs a category AM licence or equivalent, registration, insurance and a helmet. Rules on what your car licence covers differ by country. We supply the documents we hold; confirming your entitlement is your responsibility.
Is the battery removable?
On most L1e-B mopeds it is fixed or semi-fixed, which affects where you can charge. The report says which it is, and the pack’s capacity and connector type.
Can it be delivered abroad?
Yes, quoted per vehicle. A moped travels as a vehicle, and a lithium pack travels as dangerous goods, so the carrier and paperwork differ from a bicycle. We confirm the route and cost before you pay.
